ROCKSTEADY, DON’T STOP: INSIDE DUBMONES’ MUSIC DOCUMENTARY

For over fifteen years, Dubmones have helped shape the European reggae, rocksteady, and ska scene from backstage rooms to major festival stages. Ahead of an April 2027 UK tour, the collective has released Rocksteady, Don’t Stop, an inspiring music documentary from Electric Avenue Films.

Directed by Nadine Hemming, with beautiful cinematography co-shot alongside Gabor Baumgarten, the film captures the true spirit of life for the performing artists. It chronicles the project’s hustle through crowded clubs and nightliners, where endless shows turned backing musicians into lifelong friends.

After a decade-long hiatus pursuing studio careers, the project reunited in 2025 to revisit their roots in dub and punk. What began as casual jam sessions quickly sparked fresh recordings and a triumphant return to live stages.

Legendary UK reggae MC and drummer Horseman (Winston Williams) shares the screen with The Skints’ Josh Waters Rutter and Shniece, bringing a shared creative spark to life.

“Our little film tells a story about friendship and the power of music,” the band explains. “It highlights the magic of rediscovering a shared passion.”

THE MAGIC OF REDISCOVERING A SHARED PASSION

The documentary arrives alongside their studio release Dubmones Remixed on Echo Beach. The album delivers re-imagined Ramones tracks reworked by dub masters Paolo Baldini, Gaudi, Dreadzone, and Greter Than Dub.

With a six-track release dropping in spring 2027, this intimate film will make you crave the bass-heavy energy of their upcoming European shows.

Catch the vibe early and witness a legendary collective reignited.
