GOOD GOOD: GENTLEMAN’S DUB CLUB, MUNGO’S HI FI & SOLO BANTON ELEVATE THE SOUND OF SUMMER

UK reggae, ska and dub heavyweights Gentleman’s Dub Club join forces with Scottish sound system architects Mungo’s Hi Fi and veteran toaster Solo Banton on their vibrant collaborative single Good Good, released on Easy Star Records.

Fifteen years after their landmark 2011 remix of High Grade, the two powerhouse collectives reunite to drop a hot summer festival anthem. The track merges Gentleman’s Dub Club live firepower with sub-bass engineered on Mungo’s Hi Fi’s legendary custom wood speaker towers. It bridges classic 1980s dancehall flavour with sharp, modern electronic drive.

Solo Banton leads the charge with his rapid-fire delivery and trademark lyrical wit. His booming baritone anchors the rhythm, threading classic sound man charisma directly into the driving beat. The production captures the raw adrenaline of a peak-time stage set while keeping its bassline chest-rattlingly deep.

A FEEL-GOOD, HIGH-ENERGY SUMMER TUNE

Good Good delivers relentless forward motion from the opening drop. Heavyweight Mungo’s production pairs an irresistible vocal hook with physical low-end pressure, creating a feel-good, high-energy summer tune built for the festival season.

This electric link-up arrives in peak season to light up open-air fields and late-night dances. Gentleman’s Dub Club, Mungo’s Hi Fi, and Solo Banton prove that reggae music moves the masses like nothing else.
