MACKA B & JAZZWAD MAKE A SPLASH WITH VIRAL-INSPIRED REGGAE SINGLE WATER
Few artists embody the rich spirit of Rastafari wellness quite like Macka B. For decades, the Wolverhampton-born reggae artist has used his mic to champion conscious living, turning complex health advice into viral poetry.
Now, alongside multi-Grammy Award winning producer Jazzwad, he transforms one of his most beloved viral freestyles into Water, an innovative anthem celebrating hydration.
Making a splash on Chinelo Records, Water merges Macka B’s witty, health-conscious wordplay with Jazzwad’s inventive beats composed entirely around the natural sounds of water.
The entire riddim ripples beneath Macka B’s commanding delivery, creating a sound as refreshing as the message itself.
“Water, without a doubt, one of the most important things you can put in your mouth”, says Macka B. “Pay your body water, give it a good salary. Hydrate, lose weight, feel great, lubricate.”
The track brilliantly transforms Macka B’s iconic health-conscious style that listeners will instantly recognise.
