BASS, FIRE & FLOW: SKARRA MUCCI AND MANUDIGITAL LINK FOR RAGGA BLASTA
When Skarra Mucci and Manudigital step into the studio together, sparks fly. The Jamaican MC, hailed as the Dancehall President, and the French producer known for pushing bass culture forward, channel their shared love for reggae and hip-hop into a fierce collaboration. The result is Ragga Blasta, a project that pushes boundaries while staying rooted in tradition.
The title track Ragga Blasta immediately sets the pace, fusing hip-hop grit with reggae energy. Mucci’s sharp delivery cuts through Manudigital’s boom bap-driven riddim, creating a dynamic opener that refuses to sit still. As the record unfolds, the chemistry between both artists shines brighter with each track.
On Angel, old-school ragga meets hip-hop swagger, heightened by a hypnotic Likkle Devon sample. Freedom Fighter surges forward with heavyweight basslines and a rapid-fire chorus designed to command the dance. Then Inna Mi Brain pulls things inward, offering an introspective rub-a-dub moment that embodies reggae’s timeless simplicity and strength.
FROM STUDIO TO STAGE, THEIR COLLABORATION SETS SOUND SYSTEMS ALIGHT
The energy peaks again with Feel It, where Trinidadian star Queen Omega joins the mix. The ska-fuelled track bursts with vitality, engineered to set sound systems alight. Closing track Natty dives into spacious dub terrain, with Mucci flexing his rap-infused flow against atmospheric production.
Ragga Blasta lands 10 October 2025 on vinyl and all streaming platforms. The duo will bring it to life on the Ragga Blasta Tour, which kicked off in September across France and beyond. Expect Skarra Mucci and Manudigital to fuse reggae, dancehall, dub, hip-hop and bass music into a blistering stage show that reflects the full spectrum of their artistry.
