MAHALIA AND LILA IKÉ TURN UP THE HEAT WITH ‘PRESSURE POINTS’
Mahalia kicks off 2025 with a sultry anthem, Pressure Points, featuring the magnetic Lila Ikė. Drenched in reggae vibes, this track pulses with lush guitar riffs and hypnotic basslines, capturing the tangled emotions of love that linger too long.
The song dives into the messy grey areas of relationships—where passion and pain collide, and walking away feels impossible. “Don’t question if it’s love or pleasure, just put it on my pressure points,” Mahalia sings, her voice both tender and defiant.
Collaborating with Lila Ikė adds a fresh, dynamic edge. “I’ve been a fan of Lila for a long time, so working together feels really special,” Mahalia shares. Their chemistry is undeniable, blending Mahalia’s smooth R&B with Lila’s soulful reggae roots.
Following her bold single Pick Up The Pace and the acclaimed album IRL, Mahalia enters a playful new era. “I love love,” she says, “but recently, I’ve been leaning into the fun, unserious side of it.”
With Pressure Points, Mahalia proves she’s unafraid to explore love’s contradictions—delivering music that’s as raw as it is irresistible.
