Platinum-selling and Oscar-nominated music producer Toddla T joins forces with hot rising Jamaican talent & two-time Grammy nominated producer/singer-songwriter Runkus on a soundsystem style and flex.
The single is entitled ‘BIG CHUNE’, a truly magnetic single that speaks volumes about this duo’s collaborative ability. Combining Runkus’ experience, vision and genius, with Toddla T’s production and sound – heavily influenced by his background in club culture, radio and Notting Hill Carnival – results in this unique, uplifting and arresting masterpiece. With the hint of more music on the way and landing in the wake of Runkus’ incredible “Fire In The Booth”, “BIG CHUNE” sets the pace for a celebration of vibes for 2022.

Runkus, from Portmore, Jamaica, was recording music by age seven, engineering by age fifteen for some of the greatest artists in Jamaica such as Sizzla, I Wayne and his own father, Determine, and performing with the likes of Ky-Mani Marley some years later.
Runkus’ previous release ‘IN:SIDE’ showcased his ability to blend the cultural gravitas of roots reggae & dancehall with the wordplay of hip hop – setting him apart as a firm one to watch. His music is global in its perspective and yet unmistakably Jamaican.
Having met 4 years ago in Jamaica, both Toddla T and Runkus have been creating music ever since, collectively garnering support from the likes of The Fader, i-D, Clash Magazine, Notion, Complex, Trench and more.
