Ha’angana (pronounced HA-A-GANA) is a New York-based reggae artist with roots in Tonga and Anglo-America. His family name, meaning “Cheers to the Chiefs,” inspired his 2023 album title.
Raised on a mix of genres, Ha’angana found his musical influence in reggae legends like Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, and Gregory Isaacs. His music blends lovers rock, roots reggae, and hints of dancehall, aiming to create feel-good vibes for everyone. David Rodigan has featured him on BBC Radio 1Xtra.
