David Cairol builds Pacific Bridges EP on latest single, Love & Live. Reggae Tastemaker

DAVID CAIROL BUILDS PACIFIC BRIDGES EP ON LOVE & LIVE

On the shores of the Pacific, David Cairol found inspiration not in distance but in connection. The French reggae artist, long guided by a belief in unity, turned his travels through French Polynesia and New Caledonia into sound. From those encounters came Love & Live, the glowing first single from his forthcoming Pacific Bridges EP.

The project extends the spirit of his earlier anthem Building Bridges, transforming it into a series of EPs that link cultures through reggae’s universal rhythm. Recorded on location, Love & Live carries the pulse of island life and the energy of shared creation.

Cairol teams up with New Caledonian singer Fab I&I, whose voice blends seamlessly with his own. Together, they deliver a message rooted in love, life and unity. The track was written and recorded amid the Pacific’s calm intensity, shaped by the people and stories that welcomed them.

DAVID CAIROL CONTINUES TO PROVE THAT REGGAE IS A LIVING DIALOGUE BETWEEN PEOPLES

Behind the boards, Grammy-winning producers Bost & Bim (known for work with Chronixx, Morgan Heritage and Alborosie) craft a warm, sunlit riddim. Mixed by Matthieu Bost and mastered by Simon Capony at Basalte Studio, the production glides between spiritual reflection and bright groove, evoking salt air and open horizons.

With Pacific Bridges, David Cairol continues to prove that reggae is not bound by geography. It is a living dialogue between peoples, carried by rhythm, faith and the enduring strength of human bonds.
