PACIFIC BRIDGES: DAVID CAIROL’S FIVE-TRACK JOURNEY ACROSS CONTINENTS
International reggae has no shortage of devoted disciples, but few European artists have embedded themselves as deeply in reggae’s creative bloodstream as David Cairol. His ambitious five-track EP, Pacific Bridges, weaves together the Basque Country with distant Pacific shores on a project that stands as a deliberate act of cultural communion.
The collaborations bring vital energy to the project. The EP opens with Love & Live, pairing Cairol with New Caledonian vocalist Fab I&I, delivering warmth and solidarity. Mountains brings Louxstyle into the fold, connecting Euskal Herria with Kanaky.
Each subsequent track extends these threads: JYB features on Time, Aremistic graces Today with Tahitian flavour, while closer Hit & Run adds Marseille to the mix through Bzéto’s contribution.
THE EP CHAMPIONS ROOTS, LOVE, AND UNITY: CONCEPTS THAT TRANSCEND GEOGRAPHY
Behind the boards, Weston Art crafts the beats. Matthieu Bost handles mixing duties. Basalte Mastering provides the polish. YOU.N.I Music Label and Mantalink shepherd the project, with Baco Distrib ensuring it reaches listeners.
Cairol’s travels inform every moment here. The EP champions roots, love, and unity: concepts that transcend geography. Pacific Bridges succeeds by transforming distance into opportunity.
As kilometres become connections, music proves itself our most powerful passport, linking cultures and communities across vast ocean expanses with genuine intent and collaborative spirit.
