ABOUT CHARLIE P
Charlie P grew up steeped in reggae and sound system culture in Southend-on-Sea. Encouraged by his mother, he performed with the Goldmaster Allstars at just eight, sharing stages with legends like Michael Prophet.
Collaborations with Mungo’s Hi Fi and OBF launched him onto the global sound system scene. His hit Sixteen Tons of Pressure cemented his status as the Dub Controller. Now, Charlie returns to his roots with his debut solo album, Roots.
