A native of Saint Ann Parish, Jamaica, Romain Virgo began his reggae career at 16 on the talent show All Together Sing. At 17, he triumphed on Digicel Rising Stars, launching his recording career.

Signed by Greensleeves Records, Virgo’s early singles embraced lovers rock and roots reggae. His self-titled debut arrived in 2010, followed by “The System” in 2012. A reggae cover of Sam Smith’s “Stay with Me” in 2014 became a viral sensation, paving the way for his 2017 album “LoveSick”.
