ROMAIN VIRGO’S NEW SINGLE “BEEN THERE BEFORE” FEATURING MASICKA IS HERE.

The talented reggae star Romain Virgo brings us his latest single, “Been There Before”, featuring Masicka. This heartfelt song is a part of his upcoming fourth studio album, which is due to be officially released on March 1st.

The single will be available for digital download on January 26th via the famous record label, VP Records. “Been There Before” is all about perseverance and overcoming struggles. Produced by Romeich Major, Niko Browne, and Rayon ‘Slyda’ Curate, the song gives Romain the space to reveal his struggles and how he overcame them. Masicka gives a voice to the voiceless and encourages those disadvantaged and oppressed to strive for greatness.

The song is not just about overcoming past struggles but also being empowered by them. Romain and Masicka want to inspire others to do the same and never give up.

When asked about the song, Romain said, “When I heard the riddim, it brought back all these memories from when I was a youth. It made me think about the struggles I faced personally and the struggles that we, as a family, faced together. It made me think of the struggles I face today. So, I knew I had to capture those reflections — on what is, what was, and what could be.”

“Been There Before” is the fourth single from Romain’s upcoming studio album, following “Good Woman,” “Driver,” and “Switch You On.” The talented singer will be performing in Jamaica in February, throughout the North-East and South of the United States in March, at several festivals across the Caribbean in April, and in Europe from June to August, including at Summerjam in Germany in July.
