The Oddroots have teamed up with renowned producer Paolo Baldini to bring us the ‘Awareness Dub Version.’ This track is a remix of “Awareness,” originally featured on The Oddroots’ debut EP, released by Surna Records. Known for their reggae roots, the Italian band also delves into soul, jazz, and R&B.
In this remix, Baldini reworks the song’s balance, shining a spotlight on its rhythmic layers. While the new version distorts the original, it still amplifies the song’s message.

ABOUT PAOLO BALDINI
Paolo Baldini is a veteran of the Italian reggae scene. He gained recognition with BR Stylers for their electronic, UK-inspired sound. In 2006, he joined Africa Unite and co-produced their albums.
His solo project, Paolo Baldini DubFiles, launched in 2014. He’s since collaborated with Jamaican and Italian artists. Baldini also produces music for films and reggae labels.

ABOUT THE ODDROOTS
The Oddroots are an Italian reggae band from Rome, blending ska and roots reggae with soul, jazz, funk, and hip hop. Formed in 2020, they’ve grown from eight to eleven members, including horns and percussion.
Known for their rich, experimental sound, they’ve released six singles and an EP and have opened for legendary bands like The Skatalites.
