Donavan ‘I-Taweh’ Cunningham, born in St. Ann, Jamaica, shares roots with legends like Bob Marley. Raised in Prickly Pole, he crafted instruments from bamboo and sardine tins.

In 1992, I-Taweh moved to Kingston and joined High Symbol as a guitarist. He thrived in the ghetto’s Mystic Revelation of Rastafari, playing alongside legends like Dizzy Johnny Moore and Bongo Herman. He later joined Sugar Minott as a guitarist and harmony singer and flourished under his mentorship.
