Rising Jamaican reggae band F.Y.A.H. has released their latest single, ‘Cool Down.’ Cruising along with an old-school rub-a-dub rhythm, the song is about finding comfort in a loved one’s company after a long and stressful day.

The band’s bassist, producer, and co-writer, Delroy ‘Pele’ Hamilton, explains the song’s essence: “We wanted to create a vibe for working adults. It’s about that unconditional love with that special one.”

Dropping via VP Records’ Dub Rockers label, ‘Cool Down’ leads F.Y.A.H.’s debut album, ‘Free Your Authentic Heart,’ slated for 2024. It follows previous hits such as ‘I Believe’ with Alborosie and ‘Freedom Fighter’ with legendary UK roots band Steel Pulse.

F.Y.A.H. is the latest project by Grammy-nominated bassist Delroy ‘Pele’ Hamilton. Born from the pandemic’s isolation, Pele delved into music production, crafting his vision alongside vocalist Elton Earlington and guitarist Nicolas Groskopf.

After nearly a decade with Raging Fyah, Pele’s introspection led to a fusion of reggae with soul and rock in their debut album, ‘Free Your Authentic Heart’. They have performed at iconic venues like NYC’s Summer Stage Series and Reggae Rise Up, sharing their message of hope and love.
