This song was written and recorded remotely during the second Italian lockdown, Lion D was in Italy, concerts blocked, without work, and with a constant negative message launched by the media that left no hope for a better future.
Thousands of miles away, the international star of Dancehall, Busy Signal, in more or less the same Italian situation, wrote and recorded his part, and thus “Fight and Win” was born.
Even though we are told that the future is bad, that to be happy you only need money, against all the adversities of life, our only choice is to fight. The struggle is already a victory, the victory of those who do not bow their heads in the face of abuse.
“Fight and win” is, therefore, the 4th single from Lion D’s next album entitled “All In This Together“. After the success of the first 3 singles “Warning” feat. Capleton, “General” feat. Jah Sun and “Sheep Clothes”, Lion D is more than eager to present this album as a whole.
