ABOUT GENTLEMAN’S DUB CLUB
Back in 2006, nine students in Leeds bonded over a shared love for SubDub, a monthly dub night organised by a local sound system crew. This love for the scene and each other led to the formation of Gentleman’s Dub Club, a Reggae/electronic collective that has become a staple in the UK festival circuit.
The band is composed of Jonathan Scratchley, the lead vocalist and co-founder of Croatia’s Outlook Festival, along with Tommy Evans (drums), Luke Allwood (keys), Nick Tyson (guitar), Toby Davies (bass, synths), Niall Lavelle (percussion), Matt Roberts (trumpet), Kieren Gallagher (sax), and Harry Devenish (sound).
The band has performed at leading UK festivals, including Glastonbury, Bestival, and Boomtown. The band has released five albums, with their latest, Down to Earth, released in 2021. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic’s initial impact on their plans, the band has stayed true to their roots and produced music that resonates with fans across the UK and beyond.
