A CLASSIC REBORN: KATCHAFIRE DROP COLLIE HERB MAN (REVIVAL 2.0)
Māori roots reggae legends Katchafire return with a revitalised spark, dropping their Collie Herb Man (Revival 2.0) single ahead of the upcoming Revival 2.0 album. The track, first recorded around 2000, captures the timeless essence of the band’s feel-good grooves. Logan Bell’s iconic Come on still lights up crowds, a phrase that pulls fans into instant unity.
The single reflects the band’s growth as they remix and remaster their groundbreaking debut. Lead vocalist and a founding member, Logan Bell, explained, “Remixing the album is something we’ve always talked about. Twenty-three years on, we got the chance, and it was really fun to hear the original studio performances. They still stand up today, and it made me feel real proud.”
COLLIE HERB MAN BECAME A RALLYING POINT FOR FANS ACROSS THE GLOBE
As Māori roots reggae pioneers, the band’s ethos of whānau and community drives every move. Their music is not only about rhythm, it is about connection. From the joyful bounce of Collie Herb Man to their deeply soulful catalogue, Katchafire embody cultural pride while bridging audiences across continents.
The full Revival 2.0 album lands on 9 January 2026, promising a renewed celebration of the sound that made Katchafire global icons.
