Through lockdown and 2021 a special musical relationship grew between Dreadzone and West London singer-songwriter Emily Capell. After releasing the single ‘Flamingo’ the chemistry between them is perfectly captured by the bouncing ska sampling ‘Dread Town’ – the first single to lead off ‘Dreadzone presents Dubwiser Volume Two’ and a perfect example of how the two work together.
Dreadzone Presents Dubwiser Volume Two strikes a darker contrast with the sunnier aspects of Volume One. Lockdown restrictions with minimal contact led to creating new projects remotely which come together here on the second installment in the compilation series of the wider Dreadzone fold.
Collaborations, remixes and artists’ own tracks make for a stellar lineup on Volume Two – Emily Capell, Italian dub maestro Gaudi, Professor Skank, Bazil, Sub Mantra, Dubmatix and Dreadzone all feature on this new compilation.
