THE LICKSHOTS IGNITE DANCEFLOORS WITH ‘BANG’ EP
The Lickshots aren’t holding back. Their electrifying EP, Bang, is a full-throttle ride through dancehall, dub, and high-octane electronic beats, all deeply rooted in sound system culture. From start to finish, it’s a bass-heavy eruption designed to shake speakers and ignite dancefloors.
Each track pulses with energy, blending deep island grooves with futuristic dub textures. The Lickshots masterfully weave old-school reggae foundations with cutting-edge production, creating a sound that feels both timeless and urgent.
Their ability to push boundaries while honouring tradition sets them apart and Bang proves exactly why they’re at the forefront of the global dub revolution.
The low-end hits hard, the riddims slap, and the melodies stay lodged in your brain long after the bass fades. Whether you’re a die-hard dub fan or just craving something fresh for your playlist, Bang delivers.
The Lickshots have arrived with firepower, and they’re not letting up anytime soon.
ABOUT THE LICKSHOTS
The Lickshots build bridges between reggae’s rich past and its evolving future. Their self-titled 2016 debut EP fused intricate instrumentation with classic rub-a-dub riddims, narrated in true dubplate style by the late Micro Don.
In 2020, they teamed up with Screechy Dan and Jah Bami for Run Away Riddim, a dynamic collaboration showcasing each artist’s signature take.
The following year, they linked with Fatman Riddim Section—Inner Circle’s legendary musicians—to reimagine reggae classics. Their Pressure Gauge album followed, blending deep roots with fresh innovation.
