Simon ‘Skygrass’ Bowden, a singer, songwriter, producer, and visual artist from Kingston, Jamaica, is driven by lyrical magic and reggae roots.
Fascinated by words since childhood, he found early inspiration in the sounds of Buju Banton and Shabba Ranks in Half Way Tree. By his teens, he was writing songs, performing with his cousin Rasheed, and sharing the stage with Maroon 5.
Building his own studio, Skygrass produced the acclaimed debut album I Am King, featuring artists like Kabaka Pyramid. From heavyweight dub tracks to uplifting island anthems, he channels unity through Jamaican music and culture.
