“Just A Little Talk” pays homage to its reggae and dub roots. Metenier collaborated with Jolly Joseph and Dr Charty from Dub Shepherds to create a sound that captures the essence of classic Jamaican ‘version’ mixes.
The title track, “Just A Little Talk,” stands out with Jolly Joseph’s Junior Murvin-esque vocals providing a relaxed, sun-soaked vibe. Joseph and Dr. Charty’s dub mix takes listeners back to the golden era of dub music, using vintage effects like tape delay and space echo.
