JAMAICAN REGGAE BAND F.Y.A.H. DROPS NEW SINGLE “I BELIEVE”
The Jamaican reggae band F.Y.A.H. has just dropped their latest single “I Believe,” and it’s everything you could want in a track! Produced by the legendary “Dub Mechanic” Alborosie, this introspective song comes with a heavy rub-a-dub bassline that will make you want to groove all night long.
The lyrics explore the themes of resilience, faith, and the struggles we often face while trying to keep up a facade of strength. Lead vocalist Elton Earlington was inspired to write “I Believe” after a deep conversation with Delroy ‘Pele’ Hamilton, the band’s bassist. And you won’t believe what happened next! Even though Pele had no idea he was the inspiration behind the song, he immediately connected with the words and melody when he first heard it. Then, with Alborosie’s production skills, the band created a stunning human and beautiful sound.
“I Believe” is the fifth single released in anticipation of F.Y.A.H.’s debut album Free Your Authentic Heart, which will be released next year. It follows the success of their previous singles “One Day Soon (feat. Josey Wales),” “Raging Fire,” “Freedom Fighter (feat. Steel Pulse),” and “Oh Oh Oh (Jammin’).” You can listen to “I Believe” everywhere digitally, and check out the lyric video while you’re at it.
