FROM SEAVIEW TO THE WORLD: WILFUL SKILFUL RELEASES DEBUT EP GROWTH
Seaview Gardens has given the world Bounty Killer and Elephant Man. Now it has given us Wilful Skilful. The Kingston-born artist has released his debut EP, Growth, seven tracks that chart an unfiltered journey from hunger to elevation. Released via Dasvibes and Double Hungry Music, arrives like a declaration.
Wilful carries Seaview Gardens with him everywhere. The legendary Kingston neighbourhood that birthed Elephant Man and Dexta Daps runs deep in his music. A protégé of dancehall superstar Bounty Killer, he carries the weight of that lineage with pride, purpose and the lyrical precision to back it up.
Growth opens with Ambitious, and the mood is set instantly: driven, hungry, resolute. The EP moves through warmth on Call On Me, raw grit on Double Hungry, and street-level tension on Run Up and My Gun.
THE KIND OF DEBUT YOU FEEL EVERY MILE OF
Its emotional peak arrives with Mus Overcome, a soulful collaboration with the iconic Wayne Wonder. The track bridges dancehall’s golden era and its bold future. Finally, I A Win closes the EP on a triumphant note, a victory anthem that carries the full weight of everything that came before it.
The momentum is already global. The viral success of Ambitious led Wilful to open for Bounty Killer at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, arriving by private jet in a historic moment. Next comes the Growth EP International Tour 2026, spanning the UK, USA, Japan, and Australia.
As DJ Wade puts it: “Growth is the kind of debut that makes you feel every mile of the journey.”
That says it all.
