TOMAWOK ENLISTS DANCEHALL LEGEND MR LEXX FOR BLISTERING ‘MAD MAN’

French reggae star Tomawok drops Mad Man, a scorching dancehall anthem that proves worth the wait. This third single from his forthcoming album Wake Up, arriving via Tomawok and Evidence Music, sees the artist join forces with Jamaican dancehall legend Mr Lexx, aka Lexxus.

The collaboration sparks with energy. Tomawok’s deep vocals blend perfectly with Lexxus’s rapid-fire delivery. Clash lyrics meet good vibes over D&H’s (Daddy & Hypa) bespoke up-tempo riddim, a beat seemingly crafted specifically for these two talents to showcase their prowess.

WHEN TWO GENERATIONS OF DANCEHALL ROYALTY UNITE, MAGIC HAPPENS

The track arrives with equally vibrant visuals. Director Dan Kingston captured the pair tearing through New York City, weaving between Manhattan’s concrete canyons and Brooklyn’s gritty streets. Editor Lias Empreza shaped the footage into something special, while Tidouz Art Graphic provided eye-popping artwork that matches the song’s intensity.

Following previous singles Locomotive and Petit Soldat, Mad Man confirms Tomawok’s commitment to pushing dancehall boundaries. When two generations of dancehall royalty unite, magic happens.

The countdown to Wake Up begins now.
