Zion Head, born Jonathan Holness in Jamaica, now calls France home. His journey as an independent reggae artist has taken him across Europe and beyond, earning him recognition as a true musical force. He released his debut EP in 2017, “Jah Watching”, which showcased his powerful vocals, signature sound, and impactful lyrics. Notably, this album’s track “Show Love” made waves on Jamaican Central Express Ronmuschette’s top ten charts. 

Zion Head’s music has been featured on several radio stations in Jamaica and Europe and has also performed at several festivals in France.

Born Christopher MacFarlane in Wolverhampton, England, Macka B’s gravelly vocals and Rastafarian consciousness set him apart. He has been active in the music industry for over 20 years, releasing over 10 albums, and his music has been featured in several films and television shows. His 1986 album, “Sign of the Times,” remains a British reggae milestone. 

Macka B is a respected figure in the reggae world. He has collaborated with many other artists, including Damian Marley, Steel Pulse, and Burning Spear. From a violin-playing youth to a reggae icon, he stayed true to his roots, never chasing commercial fame.
