HEALING FREQUENCIES: ZIGGY MARLEY PENS FIRST TRIBUTE TO HIS FATHER

Ziggy Marley has released Many Mourn For Bob, a poignant tribute to his father’s enduring legacy. The track arrives alongside news of his forthcoming studio album, Brightside.

This marks the first time in his career that Marley has penned an original song specifically dedicated to Bob. The deeply personal track evolved during his experience producing last year’s biographical film Bob Marley: One Love.

“It’s a reflection on my father from the deepest parts of my heart,” Ziggy explains, “born from rediscovering him with new eyes.”

The accompanying music video features intimate childhood images. It offers a moving visual companion to a song rich in sentiment.

IT’S A REFLECTION ON MY FATHER FROM THE DEEPEST PARTS OF MY HEART

Brightside, Marley’s ninth solo studio album, breaks fresh ground. Recorded entirely in 432Hz, a soulful frequency used for meditation, the album lends the mix a warm depth. This technical choice underscores the record’s healing intent.

Vinyl fans can grab Brightside at independent record stores on 18th April for Record Store Day. Digital release follows worldwide on 1st May.

The announcement coincides with another celebration: the 20th anniversary of Love Is My Religion, Marley’s Grammy-winning album featuring Beach In Hawaii and the iconic title track. He’s marked the occasion with Love Is My Religion 20 (Live).
