YOUNG CULTURE BAND GEAR UP FOR DEBUT EP “HARD TIMES” & UB40 TOUR SUPPORT

Rising UK reggae royalty Young Culture Band have dropped the singles “All My Days” and “Ital Stew” ahead of their debut EP release, “Hard Times”. Brace yourself for an exciting UK arena tour where the band will open for the legendary UB40 and Soul II Soul on an eight-date tour.

The eight-piece band’s EP features three tracks, including “All My Days” and our stand-out track “Ital Stew” ahead of the tour.

Over the past nine years, Young Culture has steadily built a following in the UK and Europe. They started as vinyl collectors, DJs, and event promoters before focusing on writing, recording, and performing live.

REGGAE IS THE MUSIC WE LOVE AND FEEL FULLY CONNECTED TO

The upbeat, calypso-infused “All My Days” boasts socially conscious lyrics over a breezy vocal and musical arrangement, making it a perfect summer anthem.

Recorded at Summerfield Recording Studio in Birmingham, the “Hard Times” EP was produced by Austen Kilburn and Jamie Travers and mastered by Tim Debney at Fluid in London. Fronted by friends Richie Blake and Stevie Young, Young Culture’s roots trace back to their football days and shared love of reggae and vinyl.

Richie Blake was excited: “It’s the greatest feeling getting our music out there. We do this to uplift people through the vibrations of reggae music. Touring with our friends, UB40 will be a great joy and help us reach more people.

Stevie Young, influenced by his famous musical family, added: “Growing up with the AC/DC family DNA was inspiring. But reggae is the music we fell in love with and feel fully connected to.
