RITA MARLEY FOUNDATION AND THE MUSIC MANIFESTORS UNITE FOR ‘WAKE UP JAMAICA’

The Wake Up Crew, featuring the Music Manifestors and Rita Marley Foundation have joined forces for the empowering anthem Wake Up Jamaica. This track, recorded at the legendary Tuff Gong Studios, pulses with a message of unity, empowerment, and purpose.

The anthem was born out of a Jam Session Writing Camp, with production magic by Mikey Bennett and Stephen Golding, and features a stellar lineup. Twelve dynamic musicians, including reggae artist Gio Mar (son of Wayne Marshall), dub poet Majah Bless, and singer Jamila Falak, converged at Tuff Gong, pouring heart and soul into this rallying cry for change.

Wake Up Jamaica mirrors the goals of the Rita Marley Foundation‘s campaign of the same name, which aims to educate and inspire Jamaicans about constitutional reform. With vibrant reggae rhythms and passionate lyrics, it pushes listeners to “stand on the side of the truth.”

Through soaring vocals from Majah Bless and Jamila Falak, along with the spirited collective voice of the Music Manifestors, Wake Up Jamaica strikes a chord. It’s a call to action, urging Jamaicans to embrace empowerment, awareness, and the promise of a brighter future.
