VYBZ KARTEL HEATS UP THE SEASON WITH ‘PRETTY GIRL’ AND A GLOBAL TAKEOVER
Vybz Kartel steps boldly into summer with Pretty Girl, a bright, rhythm-driven anthem pulsing with playful energy and style. Produced by Now or Never Miami and released through Defiant Records, the track leans into a pop-flavoured sound while staying grounded in classic Jamaican dancehall.
Directed by Rizzy, the video bursts with colour and movement, celebrating the essence of Kartel’s enduring inspiration—the ladies.
Pretty Girl also signals a powerful chapter for the Worl’ Boss. After over two decades away from US stages, Kartel returned with unstoppable momentum. He opened April with back-to-back sold-out shows at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, then charged into Miami’s Amerant Bank Arena, commanding a packed house.
MORE PASSPORT STAMPS, MORE ‘PRETTY GIRLS,’ AND ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES

That momentum is only growing. This summer, Kartel is taking his magnetic stage presence across the US and Caribbean, connecting with longtime fans and first-timers alike. In September, Europe will feel the full force of his return, including a major stop at Malta’s Freedom Street Europe Festival.
“I have had so many blessings this year,” Kartel shares. “The summer is ours, and we are ready to take the world by storm—more passport stamps, more ‘Pretty Girls,’ and endless possibilities.”
Kartel’s latest move is more than a comeback—it’s a celebration of dominance, creativity, and global reach.
