WHERE ROOTS BURN: THE OBJECTORS & EDDY BANTON IN ‘100°C’

UK band The Objectors come blazing with 100°C, a heavyweight collaboration with vocalist Eddy Banton. Produced, mixed, and mastered by the legendary Peter Chemist, the track hits with roots reggae muscle, dub weight, and a rub-a-dub vocal fire that pushes it straight into sound system territory.

The Objectors have been carving out a deep, uncompromising sound, and here they raise the temperature with raw energy. Eddy Banton’s sharp delivery locks perfectly into the thick basslines, while Chemist’s production gives the cut that unmistakable Jamaican stamp.

The result feels both classic and futuristic, built for concrete dances and late-night sessions.

THE CHEMISTRY BETWEEN BAND, SINGER AND PRODUCER MAKES 100°C LAND HEAVY

100°C is also the first glimpse of an upcoming EP shaped by cult B-movies, zombie flicks, and the tripped-out atmosphere of vintage dub records. It’s a wild mix of reference points, but the chemistry between band, singer and producer makes it land heavy.

With Peter Chemist behind the controls and more material on the horizon, The Objectors are set to stretch reggae into strange and thrilling spaces.
