WIN SOME LOSE SOME: TENOR BLUE TURNS REFLECTION INTO REGGAE FLOW

When Tenor Blue first played the demo of Win Some Lose Some for J-Vibe, the producer built a solid track. Still, it did not sit right with the artist’s vision. Instead of stopping there, the two returned to the foundation. They rebuilt it around a heartbeat reggae rhythm, giving the song the pulse that now carries its emotional weight.

The single, now streaming on all platforms, is both layered and textured, written by Tenor Blue and produced by two-time Grammy winner J-Vibe Productions. The song explores the ups and downs of life, reminding us of the importance of maintaining faith and holding onto hope when things fall apart.

WIN SOME LOSE SOME LANDS AS A PIECE OF MUSIC BUILT TO UPLIFT WITHOUT LOSING ITS REFLECTIVE CORE

Adding to the richness, J-Vibe brought in keys, strings and bass that frame the song with warmth. “Speedy King” expanded the groove with percussion, while Ron Eisner of The Resolvers added guitars that shift between acoustic grounding and a delicate, soulful solo. Together, the ensemble crafts a track that feels both organic and polished.

Reflecting on the process, Tenor Blue shared, “He went back and built a new, more organic track on a heartbeat rhythm and added string arrangements to give it colour and depth. Bingo!”

With its careful layering and honest delivery, Win Some Lose Some lands as a piece of music built to uplift without losing its reflective core.
