SHAGGY & STING TURN UP THE SOUND SYSTEM ON ‘TIL A MAWNIN’

Fresh off their Grammy-winning collaboration, Shaggy and Sting dive deeper into reggae’s foundation with Til A Mawnin, a bold tribute to the sound system culture that shaped the genre’s global rise.

Released via Ranch Entertainment and VP Records, the track reimagines Henry “Junjo” Lawes’ iconic I’m Not Getting Crazy Riddim, fusing classic dancehall energy with a modern touch.

Shaggy’s unmistakable flow bounces off Sting’s smooth and melodic style, creating a hypnotic groove that bridges generations. Co-produced by Shaggy and Shane Hoosong, the track honours reggae’s past while injecting fresh vitality into its core.

Backed by the legendary Roots Radics Band, the riddim has fueled classics from Don Carlos, Yellowman and Frankie Paul—now, it gets a fiery new spin. The Jay Will-directed music video amplifies the song’s essence, immersing viewers in the raw, electrifying energy of sound system culture.

As they gear up to co-headline the Reggae Rise Up Festival on 13 March in Florida, USA, Shaggy and Sting continue to push reggae’s legacy forward with style and authenticity.
