ROYAL BLU, KABAKA PYRAMID AND THE AUTOS UNITE IN ‘LIGHT MY WAY’

Royal Blu, in collaboration with Grammy winner Kabaka Pyramid and The Autos, has released an inspiring roots reggae anthem on Easy Star Records titled “Light My Way.” This track is the latest in Blu’s partnership with The Autos, following their previous singles “Dancehall Session” and “Artillery.”

“Light My Way” is the first single from Blu’s upcoming debut album, which will be released later this year. G.wav, a new quartet of Jamaican producers and artists, including Runkus, Royal Blu, Kalex, and RiddimBoss, oversees the entire project.

CLAIMING DIVINE GUIDANCE HELPS ME NAVIGATE THE DARKNESS

Blu explained the song’s significance: “I’ve always practised saying a prayer whenever I’m going out. I grew up in Spanish Town, where anything can happen at any time, anywhere. Claiming divine protection and guidance was, and still is, necessary to help me navigate the darkness.”

Kabaka Pyramid, known as the “King” in Uganda, is a Grammy Award-winning artist who blends reggae’s rhythm with hip-hop’s sharp lyricism. Debuting with Rebel Music in 2011, he rose to fame with his second album, The Kalling, produced by Damian Marley.
