Majestic Trends brings pan-African unity with Prosperity Riddim. Reggae Tastemaker

MAJESTIC TRENDS BRINGS PAN-AFRICAN UNITY WITH PROSPERITY RIDDIM

From producing vibrant reggae-rooted projects to managing rising Kenyan artist Cathy Matete, Majestic Trends has built a reputation for connecting sounds and stories across Africa. They now step up with Prosperity Riddim, their first pan-African riddim cut entirely on home soil.

The lineup stretches from Nairobi to Lagos to Addis Ababa. C Wyne Nalukalala’s opener Almighty Guide Me calls on spiritual strength to block bad mind energy. Helen Zebulun’s Tenesu (Amharic for “get up”) throws sharp words at exploitation and environmental damage, dedicating the track to African freedom fighters through history.

A CROSS-CONTINENTAL MEETING POINT, WHERE HERITAGE, POLITICS, AND SOUND CONNECT

Jahpila Indaba’s Calling travels the map from Cape Town to Cairo, promoting cultural preservation and unity. Nazizi’s Mau Mau Cry digs into colonial scars and the fight for real economic independence. Oge Kimono, daughter of reggae icon Ras Kimono, drops Nuh Sell, a fierce demand for leaders to resist imperialism and protect African dignity.

Sydney Salmon closes with Finote Selam, a journey to the Ethiopian town named Beacon of Peace by Haile Selassie I, grounding the message that truth is the foundation of unity.

Prosperity Riddim is a cross-continental meeting point, where heritage, politics, and sound connect in one heavyweight release.
