SNOW IN KINGSTON: HOW NIGY BOY CUTS THROUGH THE COLD ON WHERE IS THE LOVE
Next-gen Jamaican dancehall artist Nigy Boy has never been one to shy away from uncomfortable truths, but his lead single on Stargate Productions’ Vortex Riddim hits with a rare intensity. On Where Is The Love, the rising vocalist joins the Stargate Backing Band to deliver a heartfelt plea against the violence and apathy creeping through modern society.
Built over a heavy modern dancehall riddim created by Marseille producer David Attal, the track pairs Nigy Boy’s signature melodic agility with lyrics that refuse to look away.
He cuts straight through the heavy basslines to pose a simple and essential question: Where did the love go?
MAKE THIS WORLD A BETTER PLACE FOR ME AND YOU
“So all I can do is play my part and hope you do too,” the artist sings, steering listeners toward deeper self-reflection. “To make this world a better place for me and you.”
The message gains even greater weight in the music video, directed by Romain Sherkhan Chiffre. Moving past typical dancehall imagery, the visual places Nigy Boy in a frozen, snow-covered Jamaica. It stands as a striking metaphor for a world stripped of human warmth.

While the full Vortex Riddim selection drops on 13 November 2026, featuring further contributions from Jamaican contemporaries Vanzo, Darrio, and Denham Smith.
Nigy Boy’s searing performance sets high hopes for the entire project. He transforms a sleek cross-continental link-up into an unforgettable musical moment.
