MICHAEL GORDON REKINDLES THE GOLDEN ERA OF LOVERS ROCK

Michael Gordon, the legendary UK singer-songwriter, takes us on a nostalgic journey with Lovers Rockin. This soulful track is a time capsule, evoking the golden days of the ’70s and ’80s when lovers rock flourished.

Known for his velvet vocals and heartfelt lyrics, Gordon’s roots trace back to The Investigators, a pioneering lovers rock band. His latest single pays homage to a vibrant era when Black British artists redefined the soundscape, blending reggae with soul and romance.

DIM THE LIGHTS, CRANK UP THE VOLUME AND LET LOVERS ROCKIN IGNITE LOVE AND MEMORIES

Back then, clubs, house parties, and weekend dances were alive with dreamy slow jams. Couples swayed in sync, escaping the grind of daily life for a few moments of bliss. Even if we can’t squeeze into our old Farah trousers or box pleat skirts, the spirit of lovers rock lives on.

Dim the lights, crank up the volume, and let Lovers Rockin remind you of music’s power to ignite love and memories.
