MACKA B DROPS EXPLOSIVE NEW ANTHEM “DANIEL IN THE LIONS’ DEN” IN TRIBUTE TO HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION DANIEL DUBOIS
Reggae icon Macka B has dropped a powerful new anthem, Daniel in the Lions’ Den, celebrating IBF World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Dubois and his triumphant rise from underdog to king of the ring.
Drawing inspiration from the Biblical tale and Prince Alla’s iconic ‘70s roots reggae anthem of the same name, Macka B reimagines the narrative of resilience and strength.
Macka B’s lyrics highlight Daniel’s strength and determination, both spiritual and physical that attributed to Daniel’s meteoric rise. The legendary Prince Alla revoices the vocals, while Grammy-winning Jazzwad crafts an authentic yet fresh reggae backdrop, mixed by the esteemed Mark Topsecret.
The result is a militant roots reggae vibe that resonates with raw power.
IF YOU BELIEVE IN YOURSELF AND FIGHT WITH EVERYTHING YOU’VE GOT, YOU CAN BECOME A CHAMPION
Dubois’ rise to glory, marked by his career-defining knockout of Anthony Joshua at Wembley Stadium, echoes through every verse. Entering the ring to Prince Alla’s original track, Dubois embodied the spirit of the lion, silencing his doubters.

Now, as he prepares to face Joseph Parker on 22 February in Riyadh, the timing of this release feels almost prophetic.
“Daniel Dubois is living proof that no matter how many times people count you out if you believe in yourself and fight with everything you’ve got, you can become a champion,” says Macka B.
This track is a battle cry for every underdog out there. With the battle set the lion is ready.
