LILA IKÉ DELIVERS A SOUL-STIRRING ANTHEM WITH ‘TOO LATE TO LIE’

Lila Iké isn’t holding back. With her evocative single, Too Late to Lie, the Jamaican singer-songwriter dives deep into heartbreak, resilience, and self-preservation. Produced by Winta James, the track builds from a whisper of snare drums into a cinematic swell of live instrumentation. Lila’s voice glides through the melody—raw, resolute, and drenched in emotion.

The song’s visuals, directed by Remi Laudat, ground her in the pulse of Jamaican sound system culture. Flanked by towering speaker boxes, she stands firm, channelling the same energy that fuels her music.

While this song is about heartbreak, it’s also about protecting your space and energy,” Lila shares. “I absolutely love the production.”

THIS SONG IS ABOUT PROTECTING YOUR SPACE AND ENERGY

Beyond the music, Lila Iké is making global moves. This spring, she’ll embark on a UK tour with her full band, bringing her sound to London, Bristol, and Manchester in April. Before that, she touches down in Japan for a run of performances alongside the Home Grown band.

Her momentum is undeniable. With past collaborations featuring H.E.R., Joey Bada$$ and Mahalia, plus nods from Rolling Stone, Vogue, and The New York Times, Lila Iké is carving out her place as one of reggae’s most captivating voices. And with her debut album on the horizon, she’s just getting started.
