KING DIEL RELEASES WINNING SINGLE “SWEET LOVE” ON THE HONEY POT RIDDIM 2.0
Jamaican rising reggae star King Diel captivates hearts once again with his latest single, “Sweet Love.” Set against the Silly Walks Discotheque’s Honey Pot Riddim, which features on the Chronixx hit ‘Smile Jamaica,’ King Diel’s soulful contribution sweetens the pot.
“Sweet Love” tells the story of a romantic journey, moving from disappointment and hurt to an exciting new love. King Diel sings, “Once upon a time, I didn’t believe in love… But I met somebody, I met a lady… She gimme sweet, sweet love, I think I like it like this…“
Following his roots reggae single “Soft Life”, King Diel is relishing his success in winning the Honey Pot Riddim challenge. Dozens of submissions showcased creativity on the producer and label team, Silly Walks Disco’s Instagram.
However, King Diel’s “Sweet Love” stood out to label owners Oliver Schrader and Joscha Hoffmann. They praised his exquisite vocal performance, superb songwriting, and high-quality video.
King Diel celebrates his achievement. “It’s an honour to be on this big riddim. As a youth, ‘Smile Jamaica’ was perfect to me. Now, to be on the same riddim is a big deal. Big up to Silly Walks for letting us breathe new life into it.”
More singles from the challenge will join Honey Pot Riddim 2.0, featuring artists like Nvt3l, Joby Jay, The Tribulizations, and Matthew Jahshua.
King Diel’s journey continues as he carves out his name in reggae music.
