Produced by the Juno-nominated duo Just Ideas and Dyse, “Vigilante” showcases King Cruff’s poetic lyricism and vibrant rhythms. King Cruff explains, “When I went into the studio, I had the word ‘vigilante’ in mind. I wanted to challenge myself, to build a song around that word and the energy of proving yourself.”
The result is a track with stealthy verses that build into a powerful, confident chorus. His lyrical storytelling shines through as he proclaims, “I’m di dark-skinned Da Vinci, melanin mystic.”
