KA$E AND HECTOR ROOTS LEWIS LOCK IN FOR ‘HUNTING SEASON’
In Kingston’s humid studios, long after midnight, two voices meet over a driving riddim. Ka$e, restless and sharp, threads conscious lines through the static, while Hector Roots Lewis answers with his signature warmth. Their collaboration, Hunting Season, produced by Sinky Beatz and Ka$e and released through Ineffable Records, feels like a moment of focus, a mission set in motion.
The track opens with grit. Ka$e’s verses cut through the mix, full of wordplay and coded pride, “Melodies come from Pluto, dissa way before NASA loophole.”
Every bar hits against Sinky Beatz’s heavy bassline, echoing late-night sessions and endless drive. Hector’s presence grounds it, his tone steady, his delivery filled with faith and gratitude.
HUNTING SEASON MOVES BETWEEN REFLECTION AND AMBITION, THE STREETS AND THE SPIRIT
Fresh from his debut album Cosmic Roots (produced by Johnny Cosmic of Stick Figure), Hector continues to expand his reach, sharing stages with Lila Iké. Together, he and Ka$e move with intensity and purpose.
Hunting Season captures determination at its core. It moves between reflection and ambition, between the streets and the spirit. Ka$e and Hector Roots Lewis stand out as voices shaping the future of reggae with skill, purpose and heart.
