JULIAN MARLEY AND ANTAEUS AIM FOR ANOTHER GRAMMY WITH AMAPIANO REMIX
Julian Marley, son of reggae legend Bob Marley, and artist/producer Antaeus are making waves once again. Fresh from their Grammy win for Best Reggae Album with Colors of Royal at the 66th Grammy Awards, they’re now setting their sights on a new category for the 67th Grammys: Best Remixed Recording in the Pop & Dance/Electronic Field.
Their latest creation, Jah Sees Them—Amapiano Remix, is a high-energy club track. It brilliantly fuses Julian’s signature reggae sound with the pulsating rhythms of South Africa’s Amapiano genre.
The remix was crafted by a talented team, including UK producer/DJ Footsteps and producer MrMyish. Antaeus and Grammy-winning engineers Joe Maldonado and Alex Psaroudakis handled the mixing and mastering.
Julian Marley expressed, “The Amapiano Remix represents my deep passion for music beyond reggae. It’s a powerful fusion that bridges cultures and genres.”
Antaeus added, “This remix reflects our dedication to creating timeless music that connects across generations.”
The hypnotic remix’s official video, directed by Damaniac Visualz, captures stunning scenes from Jamaica. It’s a visual feast that perfectly complements the track’s irresistible rhythm.
As Julian Marley’s music continues to resonate globally, he’s set to join The Marley Brothers on their much-anticipated Legacy US Tour starting 5 September.
