GRAMMY WINNERS ANTAEUS & NOTNICE TEAM UP WITH WORLD SINGER JAH VINCI IN NEW PARTY ANTHEM ‘GANJA’
Fresh from his Grammy win with Julian Marley, reggae producer extraordinaire Antaeus is back with a big tune! This time, he’s teamed up with ‘World Singer’ Jah Vinci and the A-list producer Notnice.
‘Ganja’ is an explosive mix of electro and dancehall, guaranteed to get you moving. The official video, directed by Linkz (who’s directed videos for Aidonia, Sean Paul, and Chronic Law), has dropped on Monom Records’ channel.
The vibrant video was filmed at the famous Water Lane Murals in Kingston, Jamaica, featuring the stunning 2024 dancehall queen Raquel Caution.
As the electrifying breakdancing unfolds, Jah Vinci’s smooth vocals perfectly capture the vibe: “Wake up this morning, right after mi pray, mi a light up a spliff…”.
The track was recorded at Antaeus’s Monom Records studio in Kingston and then mixed at his Contrackz Music studio in the Bronx. Grammy-winning engineer Alex Psaroudakis masters it.
Everyone involved is confident this is a hit. Jah Vinci says, “The chemistry in the studio working with Alexx and Notnice was wonderful.”
Antaeus adds, “This project is about Jah Vinci’s immense talent as a singer, meeting a fresh electro riddim. Plus, once again, I get to collaborate with Notnice, a giant producer who, despite his success as one of dancehall’s greatest contributors, remains humble and easy to work with.”
Notnice echoes the sentiment: “Working with Alexx was a great experience and a great vibe. Alexx’s energy in the studio and during the video shoot was out of this world. Bigup, sir Alexx!”
Get ready to light up the dance floor – ‘Ganja’ is here to stay!
