In his own words, he shares, “‘Stole My Heart’ is a common term being used to express the extent of one’s love for his or her partner.”

Iba Mahr is currently touring the United States with Heavyweight Rockaz. They are scheduled to perform in New Mexico, Oregon, and Washington before returning to Washington, DC, and Atlanta in early June 2024.

Iba MaHr, born Mario Greaves on January 21, embraces his African roots with the name ‘Iba’ meaning ‘Humble and Calm’ and ‘MaHr’ as an acronym for ‘Mario of Harar.’

Raised by his grandparents in Cheesefield, he found solace in music, dancing to his grandfather’s tunes. After transitioning to Linstead with his mother, he excelled academically, prioritising morals and education.

His musical journey began in 2008 when he collaborated with renowned producers like Fatis Burrell and Rollie McDermot—inspired by Rastafari, whose music advocates for love, peace, and cultural consciousness.

MaHr’s passion is crafting love songs and meaningful narratives that resonate with listeners. His humble demeanour and dedication shine through, promising a bright future for reggae music.
