Frankie Paul’s vocals were recorded at Irie Ites Studio in June 2013. A decade later, in July 2023, U Brown’s vocals were recorded and filmed at the same studio.

The legendary King Jammy laid down the riddim, skillfully mixed by Roberto Sánchez, adding an iconic touch to the track.

Frankie Paul, often called ‘Jamaica’s Stevie Wonder’, was a prolific reggae artist known for his tremendous vocal range and multi-instrumental talents.

Despite being visually impaired, he began recording at just 15, releasing countless singles and over 30 albums. His hits, including Worries in the Dance and Pass The Tu-Sheng-Peng, made him a lasting presence in the reggae scene until his passing in 2017.

ABOUT U BROWN

U Brown, born Huford Brown in Kingston in 1956, is a key figure in Jamaican deejay culture. Starting his career at 15, he developed his style with the influence of U-Roy, adding a faster, more percussive touch.

In the 1970s, he released several albums and launched his label, Hit Sound. Today, he continues to produce and perform, staying true to his roots.
