Fave & Dre Skull turn up the heat on ‘Cold Outside’. Reggae Tastemaker

FAVE & DRE SKULL TURN UP THE HEAT ON ‘COLD OUTSIDE’

Nigerian singer-songwriter Fave joins forces with heavyweight producer Dre Skull for Cold Outside a braggadocious main-character anthem dripping with delicious revenge.

Born Chidozie Godsfavour Ugochinyere in 2000, Fave has swiftly become one of Nigeria’s most compelling voices. She weaves afrobeats, dancehall, and R&B into something distinctly poetic. Her breakout singles and high-profile collaborations have earned recognition across major African music awards.

Dre Skull, the architect behind seminal tracks for Vybz Kartel, Popcaan, and Burna Boy, has spent years bridging Kingston and Brooklyn, reshaping global dancehall in the process. Here, his production strips everything back to a minimal afro-meets-dancehall bounce, giving Fave room to dominate.

COLD OUTSIDE IS PURE GLOW-UP ENERGY

And dominate she does. Cold Outside is pure glow-up energy. Fave claims supernatural presence on the dance floor while exes and doubters freeze on the pavement. It’s victorious. It’s vindictive. Exactly why they call her God’s favourite.

Released via Mixpak Records, the track was mixed by Leslie Braithwaite and mastered by Chris Athens. Fave represents a thrilling new breed of Nigerian star: deeply rooted in local sounds yet fearless in global ambition. This one burns.
