DOUBLE TIGER’S JAY SPAKER CULTIVATES CONNECTION ON ‘LOVE GARDEN’

Following his summer resurgence alongside reggae titans Sly & Robbie, Double Tiger’s Jay Spaker drops his soul-stirring single Love Garden via Easy Star Records. This marks another fruitful partnership with Lee Hamilton, his longtime collaborator on John Brown’s Body.

The track arrives as a luminous meditation on humanity’s essential bonds. Consequently, Spaker crafts a horn-heavy soundscape that champions simplicity, community and compassion. Mixed by Craig Welsch, better known as Dub Fader from 10 Ft. Ganja Plant, the production bathes listeners in radiant brass and enveloping bass lines.

“As world turbulence grows, we must stay grounded in love and connection to survive,” Spaker reflects on the track’s genesis. His distinctive vocal approach merges melodic roots with dub-influenced stylings, creating something both timeless and urgent.

AS WORLD TURBULENCE GROWS, WE MUST STAY GROUNDED IN LOVE AND CONNECTION TO SURVIVE

Love Garden functions as a sonic sanctuary, inviting listeners to cultivate inner peace amidst chaos. The arrangement blooms organically, each horn flourish and bass pulse reinforcing Spaker’s central message.

This release cements Double Tiger’s return as genuinely significant. After Yearning demonstrated Spaker’s ability to stand alongside reggae royalty, Love Garden proves he’s equally compelling when exploring quieter, more contemplative territories.

This is roots music with purpose, delivered by an artist who understands music’s power to heal.
