Dezarie is a powerful voice in roots reggae, blending deep messages with haunting, soul-stirring melodies. Born in the US Virgin Islands’ St. Croix, she first gained attention after winning Atlanta’s Best New Female Reggae Artist in 2001. That same year, her debut album Fya set the tone for a career rooted in truth and conviction.
