Da Break, a quintet from Lyon, draws its essence from 90’s funk-hip hop, inspired by Walkmans and cassettes. Their first album, embraced by major radio stations like Radio Nova and BBC Radio 6 Music, set the stage for performances at festivals such as Nuits Sonores and Woodstower.

Their second album broke barriers, blending jazz, broken beat, soul, and disco with homemade production. Hawa’s versatile voice illuminates each track, weaving tales of human relationships.
